Our Story
The Salsa Dancing Essex dance company was founded in 2008 by co-founders Eddy Chegwin and Goyo Insignares.
The company was originally formatted to provide a salsa dance class once each week in its home town Colchester. After a couple of years the group slowly but surely began to grow and of course the company needed to expand.
Salsa Dancing Essex is now made up of 11 salsa dancers that teach and train over 60 students each week. As more members join we are able to provide better training sessions and attract dancers with different styles to teach our members.
